The results of the 2021 Growth Investor Awards were announced at a black-tie ceremony at the Hilton London on Park Lane Hotel on 9th November. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, it was a fabulous evening with over 450 guests in attendance.
Adempi Associates sponsored the award for Most Impactful Investment. This prize showcases a standout deal made in the past 12 months. The judges took into account its effect on the business, how funding was deployed and how the capital has helped the investee company to grow.
We would like to congratulate all the finalists, but in particular Parkwalk, who were announced overall winners of this award category.
Congratulations also to Deepbridge Capital as runner up and EMV Capital who were highlighted as "One to Watch".
The judges commented that:
"Parkwalk’s investment in Congenica has helped the genomic analysis specialist to support international researchers in understanding the biology of Covid-19, grow headcount by 32% and set it on the path to expected future annual revenue of £200 million."
